It’s time to announce the winner of the Pet Portrait Contest!

Each entered pet pal’s name was presented to these two:

The name evoking the most excitement (i.e., “scientific” clapping) became the pet who will forever be immortalized in paint–

barring a nuclear holocaust situation. Just covering my bases. 

This method has proven very successful in our quest for a new pal for this sour puss:

Though we’ve yet to actually pick up a potential Sparky before some other (evil) person has beaten us to the punch.

Please stop doing that Other Persons. Winston has become unlivable. 

Anywho, the winner via Twinkie applause–no, NOT kidding–is (insert drumroll/”Jeopardy” deliberating music)…

Brent actually entered both of his Boston terriers, Wrigley and LuLu, in the contest–

more than we bargained for, but I think we’re up for the challenge. Observe the incredible cuteness:
