Today is Friday, a fact worth celebrating no matter your musical preferences. But today is extra super duper special because (Uncle) Nathan Angelo has seen fit to drop his new musical goodness on the world. Angelo’s latest effort (yes, produced by the hubs Stephen Gause, which DOES not make me partial AT all) Follow Your Heart is available today, and people these songs make you glad to be alive just so you can sing along.
Angelo is the real deal, both in the studio and live. There’s no need to mess with that vocal because it’s like bud-dah (that’s ‘butter’ not ‘Buddah’). The songs stick with you in the best way–not at all like that “Barney” song. Oops! Sorry. I do know a remedy for that… I can’t tell you how many times I’ve found myself humming something subconsciously (shoulda been self-consciously) only to find that, once again, Uncle Angelo’s tunes had taken over.
On a personal note, please take care to listen to Follow Your Heart in private the first time as it will–repeat WILL–induce dancing in such a way that might seriously and irreparably damage your image. You just won’t be able to help yourself. Over time, and with practice you will be able to listen to Angelo’s tunes in public. Very good news, indeed, seeing as you won’t be able to stop yourself from sharing this musical goldmine with anyone and everyone you even remotely care about.
In short, this is how to get your groove back, Peeps. You were ‘born to love’ this album, just as Angelo was ‘born to’ make music. So ‘follow your heart,’ listen ‘a little bit more,’ but above all else, don’t be a ‘fool’ and miss out. Otherwise, you’ll just ‘hurt me,’ irrevocably putting our ‘love… on the line.’ ‘We can make it,’ if you’ll simply ‘make up your mind’ to Follow Your Heart.
Here’s a peak at the always energetic Mr. Nathan Angelo and his unofficial music video for “Hurt Me.” And folks, he’d be jumping around and muggin’ like that with or without a camera in his face. Trust.

master_of_what You are too funny! Thanks for those kind words. I’ll feature the blog at some point over the next week.
Kara, I love your writing! Will definitely start following. And I loved Nathan’s last album so I’ll certainly be getting this one. Thanks for the heads-up!
His album is great I can’t seem to get it off of my iPod. People making music should take note from mr. Angelo he definately has the right stuff
