(The real thing doesn’t look half this pretty.)
I don’t like fish. It’s not personal (it’s business–name that movie!). From time to time I brave salmon since it’s a bit meatier, but I’m usually a little less than moved by the outcome. Enter my friends Chris and Brea, a multi-tasking couple who happen to love cooking in the kitchen together (hint, hint, Hubs). This is their “recipe” for Lemon Pepper Soy Ginger Salmon, and it’s got to be the easiest marinade out there.
Ingredients:
salmon (duh)
lemon pepper (double duh): 2-3 tbs for entire filet
Soy Ginger sauce (enough to cover the fish)
The Soy Ginger sauce I use is from Costco, but I’m sure any similar variety will do.
Instructions:
Cover that bad boy up prepare him for broil (HIGH, about 12 minutes),
And then bake for another 3 minutes @ 350 degrees.
THAT’S IT!
I served her up with some steamed rice and a chopped salad with honey lemon vinaigrette.
And voila! That’s dinner. So easy and delicious, I actually eat seconds of this one.
Eating fish. I almost feel like a grown up. Almost.
As for my twin toddler counterparts (19 months), they ate it up. BONUS.
