Last fall we bought a tricked-out Canon camera that I still have no idea how to use. Don’t get me wrong: I use it all the time, I just have no clue what I’m doing. Enter the iPhone ShakeITPhoto App, a sunset and a stellar group of campadres, and I have the best set of photos I’ve taken to date–without retouching. These photos turned out so well (I think) thanks to really fantastic light; the fact that they captured a fun weekend retreat away with some friends makes them priceless. Without further ado, I give you my Wolf Pack

Confession: I don’t know enough about photography to even know if these are actually good, but they are some of the best lighting-wise to come from my pressing “click.” Whatever that means. I just like the texture and dimension and find them kinda interesting. Go getcha the ShakeITPhoto App. Best $.99 I’ve spent in a long time. Bonus: the photo moves & grooves as you shake your phone while waiting for it to “develop,” just like you’re using a Polaroid. Of course, said “shaking” isn’t necessary for the pic to develop. (Some of us learned that one the hard way.) Fanny shaking is also always welcome and strongly encouraged.

Today is beautiful and sunny here in Music City, so I’m off to go chase some sun. Happy weekend, everyone!
