It. Is. Time. One of our living room sofas has seen better days. You know a little spit up here, there… everywhere. But it’s not easy finding something you want to last decade, in furniture anyway. Something that can withstand two large dwarf dogs (some call them Basset hounds), two kids (O and Ro), and my changing tastes.

Today, I’m pretty fond of this fella from Restoration Hardware:

It’s way too dramatic. And just a skoach (ahem) out of my price range.

Then there’s this bad boy from Room Service, featured on Emily Henderson’s “Secrets from a Stylist.”

I am smitten.

But I’m also totally jammin’ over this, the Essex sofa from West Elm:

Now I just need to save up me pennies.

And me nickels.

And me dimes.

(I sound like a leprechaun when I talk finances. Poor hubs.)
