Happy Fourth of July, peeps! Here’s hoping you and yours enjoyed a fun-filled and relaxing day. We got to celebrate with some sweet friends. O and Ro also logged a bit of pool time. Observe:

I’ve decided that we all need to experience this kind of joy and freedom with those we love. Those grins are indicative of flights of fancy and the independence toddlers crave. Confession: Their mothers do, too. Guess that’s one reason it’s so fun to have kids; we get to relive it all over again. (Not that I’m gearing up for a life as a stage mom. This is my solemn vow.)
